I put together this tarot reading for the American economy looking forward over the next 4 years. 2021-2024 will lead us thru an exponential, pace of change. Our most valuable skill will be flexibility, we must hang on to the traditions we love so they do not weigh us down and continue to explore and consider the multitude of new paths being presented to us every day now.
Recently in light of looking forward to better understand the big energy framework of the American Economy I selected a single tarot card for each of the next four years. Buckle up as we are all on an exciting economic ride. Big change opens up the universal energy for big opportunities for us to break out of old traditions and habits that no longer serve us as individuals or culturally. The date of this reading was 1-23-21.
I do not like to share bad news but this card indicates that we are going to have a very disruptive unexpected change in our economy this year. An additional card indicates that this big change is coming in the first quarter of this year. Here is the upside. Old patterns and structures will fall away to allow for new ideas to form. We will emerge from the change with a new deeper understanding of our economy. Below you will find a reading I did soon after Biden was declared the winner of the 2020 election. The Death card appeared for the general energy of 2021. With this earlier card, I just thought we would see a lot of change with Biden coming into office. But now with The Tower card also showing up for 2021 and our economy I am revising my early gentle warning about changes to now an event that will fundamentally change us and how we interact with our money.
More change. We will need to persist and move thru the change by keeping our eye on our goals. In other words, we will still be dealing with the repercussions of the big economic change that will happen in 2021.
The Three of Pentacles represents the American Economy in 2023
Many economists, business gurus, and futurists are saying now that on the other side of the Covid-19 restrictions being lifted there will be a renaissance of innovation in many many areas of our lives. For example expect big changes in clothing, exercise, where we work, and how we travel going forward. It is expected that many areas of our lives will be greatly impacted. This card is all about celebrating our individual and unique potential and ability. This will be turbo boosted when working with others in collaboration. Since the suit is the Pentacles, so we know it will manifest in our earthly material world rather than just being in the realm of ideas.
This card is all about juggling the bounty of health, ego, and physical items on earth in our material world. This is a positive card because it suggests that a lot is going on at once. Since the suite is Pentacles, this juggling will be in the realm of the material world. Being flexible and fluid will help us to handle this change on many levels of life at once.
Will Biden be re-elected for a second term?
At the moment the answer is yes. But the cards say he may not finish the second term.
I do not think of this tarot card reading about Biden’s presidency as predicting the future. The way I look at it the reading was based on today and the direction that the energies are currently flowing. But we are all making choices that influence the future. This card tells us that during the first 60 days there will be optimistic energy while we juggle many things. To enjoy this energy stay open to new possibilities, be flexible. - In the coming year 2021
The card drawn is the Death card
This card is about transformation which involves the “death” of one state to make room for a new state. This card lets us know that next year will be filled with a feeling the past is behind. We will look forward and transition into a new phase. This new phase comes in with bursts of new insight that allows the birth of new ideas.
- The second-year: 2022
The card drawn is the 10 of Swords
It seems that this will be the year of political infighting that really brings us down and depressed. We will collectively feel like “What else can go wrong?”
- The third-year: 2023
The card drawn is the 4 of Swords
After all the political fighting leading up to a mid-term election will bring us to a place where we will all want to slow down to gain perspective. We will all be thinking about how we want to be going forward. Because 2024 will be all about making well thought out unemotional choices.
- The fourth-year: 2024
The card drawn is the Queen of Swords
We will be gathering the facts, and devising a plan forward.
First, let us look at the overarching influence of the Swords in this reading. Receiving three Sword suit cards I believe the Biden administration will focus on facts, to be unemotional in their choices. This focus on facts and fairness will rule our lives as well. Based on how the Biden campaign spoke during the campaign, I would say the tarot cards really nailed what we are already hearing and seeing from the Biden administration.
